"BIG DADDY AND THE HOODOO MEN" have been delivering
the hottest blues sound throughout the NE Ohio area over
the past nine years!

What sets us apart from the rest of the pack is the band's ability to
fit into any type of venue. Whether a large concert setting to the
smallest of intimate or fine dining settings and everything
in between. "BIG DADDY AND THE HOODOO MEN" can
tailor a night of music that can embrace the ambiance of the venue
and add to its uniqueness!

Over the years we have found our best demographics have been
stable with the 30 year-old plus crowd, however there appears
to be a younger movement beginning to discover the blues as well!
Our fan base continues to steadily increase throughout the area.
Currently we cover an area that stretches from the Ohio River to
Lake Erie!

Over the past six years plus, we have had the opportunity to open
for such national acts as: Johnny Winter, The Fabulous
Thunderbirds, Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers
and Michael Hills Blues Mob!

Our rates are very reasonable and we are most certainly aware of
the current economy. The length of the engagement, travel distance
(we are based out of Akron, Ohio), day of the week
and the amount of equipment we need to bring with us, are all
determining factors when we quote you (the employer) a price. We
believe that our prices are very reasonable for what you get in
return. Additionally if you book more than one date at a time
you'll get a price break as well.

We have seen a lot in our six years working in clubs and we would
be glad to share with you what we've experienced in the "what
works and what doesn't" realm. We have played some really great
venues only to see them poorly managed and driven right out of
business. Yes, we do this for the pure love of the music, but we are
also fair and honest business folk as well, strictly by necessity.
